In short
Two Keys is a free browser game with no sign-up. We do not collect personal data, build profiles, show ads, or use analytics or third-party trackers.
What the server keeps
While you play, the server keeps the room, the name you typed, your role, the chapter progress and chat messages in memory. None of it is written to disk. A room with no players is deleted after 30 minutes and disappears at once when the server restarts.
The server does not log IP addresses and keeps no game history.
What your browser keeps
In localStorage: your name, language, sound setting, finished chapters and lamps. In sessionStorage: a random player number so a reload brings you back to the same room. This stays on your device; clear the site data in your browser to remove it.
Voice chat
Voice starts only when you press the microphone button. Audio goes directly between the two browsers (WebRTC) and is never recorded. With a direct connection your partner can technically see your IP address, as in any voice call. If a direct connection is not possible, audio passes encrypted through our relay (TURN) and is not recorded either. The “Same room” mode needs no microphone.
Children
The game asks for no personal data and suits any age. Rooms are private: you can only join with a code or a link.
Contact
